Q:  Do we all evacuate or should some parts of Meyerland definitely evacuate while others may be ok? What sections are on the 100-year floodplain?

A: All of Meyerland is in the 100-year flood plain.
Regarding evacuations the City of Houston is the governing body and, as of now, has not ordered evacuation of our area. As far as I know they are evacuating the coastal areas that would be affected by storm surge.

Meyerland is conveniently located near 610 West Loop making it:
15 minutes to Downtown Houston
15 minutes to the Texas Medical Center
10 minutes to the Galleria
10 minutes to the Astrodome		 Meyerland has three hospitals within a 10 minutes drive:
Bellaire General Hospital, Bayou City Hospital, and Memorial Southwest Hospital		 Meyerland has TEN  grocery stores nearby:
